About Takeoff Services LLC an Outsourced Estimating Desk for Contractors
Takeoff Services LLC measures construction drawings and prices them for contractors who bid and build. You send a drawing set and a bid date, an estimator quotes one fixed price, and a second estimator checks the package before it ships. This page says who does what, what is checked, what stays private and how to reach us.

A desk built for contractors who bid and build
Plain facts first, because a vendor you have not met should be easy to size up.
Takeoff Services LLC does two things. It measures construction drawings, and it prices what it measured. Contractors send a drawing set and a bid date, and the desk returns quantities, a priced estimate or both, as files they can open, change and bid from.
Around those two services sit five specialist desks for scopes that price on somebody else's ruleset: insurance restoration estimates, prevailing wage estimating, structural steel detailing, project scheduling and bid management.
The desk works for the contractor. On public work that means the contractor bidding the job, never the awarding agency. It does not submit your bid, and the decision about what the bid should be stays in your office.
Send one set and read the quote before you commit
Name the trades and the bid date. One fixed price and a delivery date come back in writing, and nothing is billed until you approve it.
Six kinds of contractor send drawings here
Each one needs a different document out the other end, which is why the services are split the way they are.
General contractors
Takeoffs and estimates for the bid, the bid desk work around it, and a sub's quantities checked before award.

Who is on your job
Roles, not biographies. This is what you can count on, and what the delivery note will show.
Named to you
The estimator who builds your package is named to you, answers your questions and handles any revision, so you always know who is holding the set.
A second estimator
An independent estimator audits every package before release. Look for both names on the delivery note.
The same estimator, job after job
Teams that bid every week can run a standing queue with the same estimator, who learns their template and the exclusions they carry as standard.
Ask who would work your set before you send it
Request a call back and put the question to an estimator. You get a straight answer before anything is uploaded.
Your drawings stay your drawings
The short version. The how it works page sets out the full list, and the legal pages hold the binding terms.

Run the whole queue through one named estimator
Teams bidding three or more jobs a month can move to a monthly retainer. The pricing page explains that and the named dedicated estimator option.
Three places to check before you send a set
A claim on an About page is worth what you can verify elsewhere, so here is where to look.
A delivered package
Anonymized packages by trade, so you can open the workbook and check a length against the plan yourself.
